My first song in Hungarian
Talpra, Fehérorosz! Hadd védjük a fehéroroszt (Абараняйма беларуса/беларуску) Bárhonnét fenyeget vész! Kibírtátok az elnyomást (Вы вытрымалі ўціск) De most végre balsors elvész! Együtt vagyunk e harcunkban (Мы разам у гэтай барацьбе) Habár sok bonyodalom! Fehéroroszországunkban (У нашай Беларусі) Hatalmas a forradalom! Folytatódik a kocsedó (Працягваецца бязладзьдзе) Barátaim bebörtönzésével! Talán jövőnk lesz ragyogó (Можа будучыня будзе зьзяць) Újjáéledésünkkel! Mintha megéreztem volna (Нібыта я адчуваў) Hogy büszkeségüket visszanyerik! Túl sokáig volt mostoha (Зашмат было нам мачыхі) Végre itt az idő, úgy tűnik! Your hollow smile kills my mind,
How do you do your do?
Cheap, plastic repulse, fake and possibly stolen,
Your MacDonalds & KFC lives,
Dripping putrid grease and death,
And you waddle fat, unaware.
The silent ones, who dwell out of the city
Are waiting in the shadows for you,
They linger on the lines of reality,
With knowing and reason,
More than us Humans know,
And they do as they shall
To the surplus and unwanted excess.
(17th Sept. 2019)
Sitting and watching the brook flow along,
Shimmers, dazzles and reflects,
The hot sun merges with the Blackbird's song,
And engulfs all that is real, nothing to suspect.
Detailing the Vashka flying by,
Her quiet whispers, only heard by the few,
Of Fairy glamor and what happens when we die,
Curling the parchment corners with nighttime dew.
And the rippling waters flow ever onward,
Carrying the names of reasons along,
Snaking the countryside, moving toward
The undercurrent dreams of the seaward song.
A Buzzard cries as the morning dies,
High above the burbling brook below,
I am seen sitting with pondersome eyes,
Trying to drink up all there
I’m quite imperfect here on earth
But that doesn’t mean I’ve got no worth
In fact, the reverse is really true
And I can only do what I can do
I may not have the best physique
And in sports and games I can’t compete
But I can show kindness and much love
As they fit together like a hand in glove
So by the time I reach those pearly gates
The ailments I’ve had won’t need debate
For I shall then be completely whole
In a pain-free place where I’ll rest my soul!
